At Frank Mann Field, the T-Bolts beat the Alexandria Aces 6-1 on June 21st, behind stellar pitching.
The T-Bolts used two big innings to give support to starter Conrad Wozniak (UMBC) strong six innings pitched. Wozniak gathered seven strikeouts in six innings pitched, allowing just two hits and one walk.
The bats got to Aces starter Trevor Eulenbach (Weatherford College), who lasted just two innings after the T-Bolts posted 6 runs on him.
The T-Bolts got on the board in the first when Matt Rowland (Tulane) knocked in two runs with a double, bringing in Nick Dunn (UMD) and Steven Paredes (Lindsey Wilson College). Rowland’s college teammate Hunter Hope (Tulane), brought in the final two runs of the inning with a home run.
The T-Bolts got two more insurance runs in the second after Zachary Racusin (Marist) brought in Cameron Burns (Tulane) with a fielder’s choice, and A.J. Lee’s (Maryland) single brought home Ben Kocher (Belmont).
No more runs were scored until the 9th, when the Aces Malcolm Nachmanoff (Stony Brook) double brought home Danny Pardo
